On Shabbat the Kochav Yaïr synagogue hosted several Chazzanim. They held a concert, they prayed with the congregation, it was a beautiful event.

My mother went to shul, to pray in the presence of our Parochet. She cried. People ran up to the Parochet to touch it in awe. It is a jewel, THE jewel of Kochav Yaïr.

On Sunday people started calling my mother, each praising the Parochet in their own way. All gushed and could not stop telling her what a marvellous memorial it is to my father.

You created a gem. A jewel. An outstanding, astounding work of art, that is inimitably perfect. It sings. It is holy. It is remarkable and beautiful beyond words.
