Oohhh, this project was SO much fun! (And an honor!)

When Blima Ehrentreu, the amazing Founder and CEO of The Designers Group, reached out to us for a parochet collaboration, I knew we were in for something special. Blima is a true visionary in the world of high-end design, with awards like GlobeSt’s Women of Influence (2020 & 2022), Crain’s Notable Leaders in Real Estate (2023 & 2024), and Build Magazine’s Best Luxury Interior Design Studio (2023).

How It All Began
It started with an email from Aakanksha Gupta, Blima’s Lead Interior Designer.

The lead vision was modern: Black-and-white for everyday use, paired with a white design for the High Holidays. It had to match the clean lines of the shul’s Aron Kodesh and overall contemporary aesthetic.

It needed to be sleek, modern, and elegant.

We quickly got to work creating designs to show them, with a suggestion that really transformed the initial concept into something truly special for the shul.

Adding Meaningful Touches
Enter the Shivas Haminim (Seven Species of Israel) border, reimagined in a modern line design. Instantly, the parochet became more than just a beautiful piece - it carried symbolism and meaning.

And let’s not forget!! There’s the embroidered gradient text, one of our specialties at My Parochet. It adds depth and shine to the design.

Of course, we couldn’t stop there! We made a matching amud cover too, for a fully cohesive look.

Throughout the process, we sent them progress shots at every stage, so they could see their vision coming to life. It’s one of the most exciting parts our clients look forward to!
